‘Violette' is a Multiflora climber with dark purple flowers. The darkest in the series of 'Veilchenblau', 'Rose Marie Viaud' and 'Bleu Magenta'. The small flowers are filled and show their yellow stamens, which makes a nice contrast. The flowers have a slight scent. It is a strong climber that is almost spikeless, with large, dark green leaves. The plant can also be in the semi-shade and is sometimes susceptible to powdery mildew.
