This seedling of Rosa roxburghii has pink flowers as its parent but its habitus is more stocky and compact.The lovely large yellow orange hips in autumn look like lampions and stay much longer on the plant whereas with Rosa roxburghii the hips fall down very quickly. Therefore, the Rosa roxburghii ‘Lampion’ is an advantage for lovers of wild roses and rose hips.
