An impressive variety. The shrub develops overhanging stems of about 150-200 cm, on which flowers grow the second year (across the whole length of the stems). The beautiful, single flowers with long, yellow stamens are medium-sized (about 3-4 cm across). Creamy white in bud, pure white when open. The flowers appear densely scattered across the stems. They are arranged perfectly: no single rose covers another one. They are highly scented. The foliage is strong and glossy, yellowish green. Each flower becomes a globular-oval hip, somewhat thicker than a marble: an additional virtue from midsummer onwards. Those who know Kiftsgate, Lucens erecta and the Hybrid Musks, will definitely appreciate Pleine de Grâce. Bronze Medal Baden-Baden 1981.
