The small, semi-double, carmine red flowers of 'Mme. Norbert Levavasseur' are slightly lighter in the centre. This old polyantha is very floriferous and healthy. It is a low shrub with strong, healthy leaves and a bushy growth habit. This makes it good in the foreground of edges, as a border or in a pot.
