Extended description

The rose 'Hedi Grimm' has strikingly large, pyramid-shaped clusters with small, highly scented, white, semi-double flowers. The shrub grows to a height of 180 cm and can also be used as a rambler that reaches a height of 250 cm. The plant has dense foliage and is very healthy. This rose is a tribute to Hedi Grimm (1910-2003) who, together with her husband Wernt, founded the rose collection in Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (Germany). Hedi and Wernt Grimm loved Louis Lens' roses very much and helped to judge his new creations. The rose was christened in the Euro Rosarium in Sangerhausen (Germany), the largest rose collection in Europe, in 2005. A tribute to an unforgettable lady who is immortalized in a rose that certainly would have charmed her.
