'Ferdinand Pichard' is a strikingly beautiful rose, striped, repeat-flowering and resistant to diseases, with a wonderfully fruity scent. Its medium to large flowers offer a unique blend of colours of varying shades of pink, dark pink, carmine pink with white stripes or spots, similar to impressionist paintings. It blooms again until the first frost, although the first bloom is the most spectacular. Originally classified as belonging to the Bourbon family, it is now considered a Hybrid Perpetual. The rose is particularly robust and healthy, suitable for cooler areas but thrives best in warmer climates. It is praised as one of the best striped or spotted varieties, particularly suitable for small gardens. Ideal as a hedge, in mass or group, solitary or in a pot. The flowers also hold well in a bouquet.
