A climbing tea hybrid from 1919 that is still popular. The large flowers are dark red, almost velvety red. They are filled and have a strong, intense, sweet smell. ‘Etoile de Hollande' is a vigorous climbing rose that flowers early in the season, at the end of May, and again in the autumn.
