The spherical buds produce large quartered and strongly scented flowers, white and cream blush pink in the centre. The flowers have a strong sweet anise scent and appear in early June. The leaves are strong and olive green. The plant is upright with overhanging branches. To get a strong bushy shrub, it is recommended to prune it in the first years after flowering so that it becomes bushier.
