Extended description

Very full, quartered flowers appear from the large dark pink flower buds. Old pink with a darker center and lighter towards the edge. The colour fades with age. The outer petals are reflexed, bent outward.
The upright shrub is most beautiful when it is cut round every year after flowering. The leaves are a beautiful dark green. Flowering profusely in June-July.
