An eye-catcher in the garden because of its almost single, large, scented flowers that stand together in airy, wide clusters with 10 to 20 flowers. They are warm pinkish red with a little white in the centre and show their yellow stamens. The flowers are well scented, unique to the Musk Hybrids: a scent of old roses. ‘Vanity' forms a broad and open growing shrub with long branches. The leaves are large, dark green, and shiny. Large, oval hips of 12-18 mm appear in autumn. Can be planted in the garden as a shrub in group, in the perennial border or as a rambler against a fence or wall.
