This vine rose is a real eye-catcher. From mid-June large, round clusters of scented, single, white flowers appear. Orange, round hips appear in August and remain on the plant until December. Very vigorous plant with beautiful, grey-green leaves.

    Extended description

    This powerful vine rose from R. glauca (= R. rubrifolia) is one of our favourites. In June large, round clusters with small, scented, single, white flowers appear. The plant then forms a waterfall of white flowers. Their leaves are large, matt and beautiful grey-green. Another trump card of this variety is the orange rose hips, which appear in the course of August and stay on the plant until late December. ‘Sir Cedric Morris' is a very vigorous vine rose that produces shoots of more than 3 m. in a growing season, making it an ideal tree climber. The rose hips are decorative in flower arrangements or bouquets.
