Extended description

'Red Fire' forms an erect growing shrub distinguished by its deep red flowers. They have a yellow base which gives the red color even more vibrance and makes them sparkle. The double flowers with serrated petals are grouped in large clusters and bloom again until late autumn. Their scent is light and pleasant. The sturdy foliage is an attractive, dark glossy green. Young new shoots are tinged with bronze. Ideal in groups among other shrubs or perennials or as a hedge. Rose hips appear in the autumn. The plant benefits best from an annual pruning to 50 cm.

Named after the multinational Paul Wurth S.A., founded in 1870 as a boiler factory in Luxembourg, today recognized worldwide for its know-how in the field of industrial engineering.
