The large, semi-double, bowl-shaped, lightly scented flowers appear in clusters. An upright growing shrub with slightly overhanging branches. The colour is a subtle, pastel combination of light peach pink to light yellow in the centre, mixed with a magenta shine. According to the seasons and more specifically to light and temperature, the colour will show different shades so that the first flowering, the high summer flowering and the autumn flowering can be very different. ‘Countess Michel d'Ursel' forms a compact shrub. The young brown-red foliage is striking, which creates a nice contrast with the dark green leaves. Countess Michel d'Ursel, passionate rose lover, restored the historic rose gardens of Hex Castle and was the driving force behind one of the most beautiful plant fairs in Belgium. In June it is a meeting point for rose lovers from home and abroad and in September it is an ode to the vegetable garden. During the first Rose Festival in June 1994, this rose was christened.
