Introduced in 1958, this is still one of the most planted roses. The large classically shaped blooms are bright cherry red, and bloom from June to the end of October. They are sweetly and subtly scented. The upright shrub has healthy dark green leaves that are semi glossy. Ideal for large beds, small groups, and between perennials. Also suitable as a hedge, or cut rose.
