Elegant, pink flowers in large clusters of up to 15 flowers that keep their colour. In very warm weather they turn to white. They have a light to no scent. The flowers are small to medium-sized and bowl-shaped. After an initial, long flowering period starting in June, the plant will continue to flower until frost. It shrubs well and is also classified as a landscape rose. The leaves are small, dark green and semi-glossy. In autumn, round, orange-red hips appear, which are a delicacy for the birds. ‘Bonica' is planted in a flower bed, in groups between perennials, as a hedge, on a slope or in pots.
