This rose has been found by Louis Lens as a seedling in a pot of Rosa arvensis plena.As the name says ths rose has some special carecteristics, even mysterical.The young shoots become very soon a grey bark dark with folds or crevices. The wood is similar to that of a tree or a bush and especially an apple tree.The branches are not very long and large with short internodes, they twisted in different directions, which gives a beautiful image in the winter.The eyes are difficult to see because the young shoots show a darker bark. The foliage looks like apple, it is deformed and relatively rude. The large flowers are half full, dark pink and white in the centre, bleaching with tasks. Their colour varies from one flower to another. They show their yellow stamens. The general appearance of this rose is from an apple tree. The flowers do not fruit develop. Height 100 cm.
