This rose by Louis Parmentier is mentioned in the Van Houtte catalog of 1851. It is one of the numerous introductions of the Belgian rose grower Parmentier d'Enghien. The medium-sized flowers are double, cup-shaped and fragrant. The lilac-pink flowers have white spots and stripes. It forms an upright shrub that bends under the weight of the flowers. The leaves are pale green.
