Extended description

The large semi-double flat flowers are striking and beautiful due to their deep purple-crimson colour and a center with a large golden bunch of stamens. These attract bees. The petals are also speckled and spotted with a lighter crimson red. As it ages, the flower takes on a purple-gray colour. The flowers are in small clusters.
The plant has overhanging branches. By shearing this into a bulb after flowering you get a sturdy and very flowery plant. The leaf is healthy and strong. We cannot speak of thorns with this rose. Rather, they are bristles. Hips appear in the fall.
